The Simple Present Tense

• We use the Simple Present Tense for actions that happen everyday.

         She walks to school everyday.
         I have breakfast at seven o'clock.

• We also use the Simple Present Tense to talk about general truths.

         There is a bird in the tree.
         I water the plants everyday.
         The flowers are pretty.
